Hello, dear Reader!

Before I get to the art news, I have a recommendation for you.

If you’re looking for a really good series to watch and, like me, somehow haven’t seen it yet, I strongly recommend Prime Suspect with Helen Mirren.

You can throw tomatoes at me because I absolutely love detective stories, and yet I had never watched this classic before 😊

I’m currently on the third season, and it’s brilliant. The seasons I’ve watched so far feel almost like feature-length films: one investigation is told in two parts, each lasting around one hour and forty minutes.

So, if you enjoy mysteries, puzzles, and slowly uncovering what really happened, this is definitely something for you.

My plans for September

September is going to be a special and busy month for me. My birthday is less than three weeks away 😊

I plan to devote most of my creative time to finally completing the fourth part of my Echoes series.

Echoes explores how familiar themes from art history return in new and unfamiliar forms. It is a story about cycles, reinterpretation, and how every era brings new tools and technologies into art. Lilies, which have appeared in the works of artists throughout history, are the recurring motif connecting the series.

I began working on the collection last year and it currently includes three artworks. The fourth one has been sitting in my drafts for quite some time.

It is an animated artwork created entirely from vectors. I’ve been changing it, experimenting with it, and trying different approaches for much longer than I originally expected.

This September, I want to devote almost all my free time to finishing it. Perhaps with the exception of a few evenings when I may need to create something completely different, just to let my mind breathe 😊

LEGS is almost here

This Monday, September 7, LEGS officially goes live with the presale.

I want to thank everyone who joined the presale list, took the time to explore the collection, and supported me throughout this past week.

I’m incredibly grateful for your trust, your interest, and every kind word I’ve received. Preparing my first larger-scale drop has been an intense experience, and your support has meant a lot to me.

Am I nervous? Of course I am 😊 But I’m also incredibly happy and excited.

New York was everywhere this week

This week definitely belonged to New York 😊

For personal reasons, I couldn’t be there this year. I hope that perhaps next year I’ll finally make it. But watching all the events, exhibitions, and meetings from a distance, I have to admit that I felt a little jealous of everyone who was able to experience it in person 😉

The atmosphere looked wonderful. So many artists and collectors meeting, talking, sharing art, and simply spending time together beyond the timeline.

I especially loved seeing the gatherings at Justin Aversano’s studio. The space itself is beautiful, but what stayed with me most was the atmosphere in all those photos and videos. Everything felt incredibly warm, intimate, and almost like a family gathering.

And speaking of artists’ studios, I have a question for you:

If you could steal one artist’s studio for a day, whose would it be?

I think you already know my answer 😉
