For almost two months, I have been quietly working on something new.

Before I officially announce it on X, I would like to share it with you first.

LEGS
170 Artworks. 170 Stories.

LEGS is a collection of 170 unique 1/1 artworks created with my procedural image-generation algorithm. And my first drop on this scale.

I describe them as Algorithmic Neo-Geo Assemblage: geometric fields filled with colors, textures, patterns, accents, and simplified leg forms.

However, I never saw these artworks as purely abstract compositions.

For me, they became fragments of situations, like film stills taken from stories we cannot see in full.

A meeting. A hurried walk. Someone waiting. A joyful jump. A farewell. A moment that may have happened just before the image or may continue beyond its edge.

How It Started

The visual language of LEGS grew out of Breathe, Little Bird, a series of digital collages I had created some time earlier.

I continued exploring fragmented human forms through AI experiments in ComfyUI, gradually removing more and more of the figure. Faces and bodies disappeared until only the legs remained.

The final compositions were generated with my procedural image-generation algorithm. Each begins with a new seed and develops within the rules and parameters I defined.

The algorithm generated many compositions, but I deliberately selected only 170 - the ones that held my attention and suggested the beginning of a story.

MORE ABOUT THE PROCESS

Traits and Artist Notes

Each artwork has its own combination of four Traits:

• Grid describes the structure and complexity of the composition: Clean, Balanced, or Rich.
• Legs records the number of abstract legs in the artwork.
• Leg Body Colors records the number of distinct colors used in the leg forms.
• Artist Note preserves my first personal association with the selected composition.

Artist Notes are especially important to me because they connect the procedural process with a human response.

The algorithm does not know what it has generated. It sees parameters, positions, colors, patterns, and relationships between elements.

I may look at the same arrangement and see people walking together, someone trying to reach higher, a strange encounter, a humorous situation, or the beginning of a film scene.

That first association became the reason I selected a particular composition.

The Artist Note records a trace of that decision, but it is never intended to provide the only correct interpretation.

My way of seeing an artwork is only one possible beginning. You may look at it and discover a completely different movement, relationship.. different story.

That space for personal interpretation is at the heart of LEGS.
