I’d been meaning to start this newsletter for quite some time.
But I kept putting it off, wondering about the perfect first topic, the right format, and whether I could pull it off. There was always something that didn’t feel quite right.
In other words, I was waiting for the perfect moment.
It’s funny because I often write about trusting the process, taking a breath, and simply making the next step. As it turns out, it’s much easier to give that advice to someone else than to follow it yourself 😉
Eventually, I realized that my first newsletter doesn’t have to be perfect. It simply has to exist.
I want to share stories, glimpses into my creative process, and thoughts that would take far too long to type out on social media using that tiny keyboard. I’m also never quite sure who is reading them, so I’m delighted that my very first newsletter is already reaching dozens of people who follow me on social media, as well as new readers who may have come across my work in their feed for the first time.
There will also be new artworks, updates from recent events, and artists whose work has made me stop and linger for a while.
All without the rush, the algorithms, or the pressure to fit every thought into just a few sentences.
So, instead of rewriting this introduction yet again, I’m simply beginning.
I’m so glad you’re here with me 😊
A little bird that doesn’t always have to fly
Since I began with the first step, I have to tell you about a little bird.
To be honest, my digital collage series Breathe, little bird came as quite an artistic surprise to me. I didn’t expect it to turn out the way it did and today, I’m damn happy with the result 😊

Interestingly, the longer I look at these pieces and the more often I return to them, the closer I feel to them. Each of the four works captures a different moment along the same journey: self-doubt, perseverance, struggle, transformation, and the gradual discovery of one’s own strength.

We often think that the next step has to be bold and decisive and preferably take us in the right direction straight away.
But what if it doesn’t?

Sometimes, you don’t have to spread your wings right away. Sometimes, it’s enough to take a deep breath, gather your strength, and make one small step.
Just like I did with this newsletter 😉
A few pieces of good news
Quite a few wonderful things have happened around my art recently 😊
I’m so happy that these works have found their way into such wonderful collections. Thank you all for your support and trust!
Coming soon ...
For now, I can’t reveal too much. First, because I don’t want to jinx it. Second, because I still need some time to refine the entire presentation.
But I can give you a little sneak peek 😊
I’m planning my first drop on such a large scale: more than 150 unique 1/1 artworks, generated using an algorithm I wrote. It’s a new challenge for me, not only artistically, but also in terms of preparing the entire campaign, landing page and presenting the project.
I don’t want them to be merely algorithmic outputs. I want them to be captured moments from tiny stories.
There will definitely be an allowlist, and readers of this newsletter will be among the first to hear about it.
I’m incredibly excited and a little stressed at the same time. The deadline I set for myself is approaching quickly, and I still have a few things to finish. Setting a deadline is always important, even if, for now, it’s only a commitment I’ve made to myself. It helps me stay disciplined in my creative practice.
That’s all I can share for now. Keep your fingers crossed, I’ll reveal more soon! 😊😊😊
What made me pause
I don’t want to talk only about my own art here. In each newsletter, I’d also like to share a few artworks or artists whose work has recently made me stop and linger for a while.
I love skitch's illustrations. I’m almost embarrassed to admit that I discovered skitch’s work thanks to 6529. I like how, despite the style, his pieces retain a certain seriousness, they never feel overly cute. I love their sense of depth, the play with perspective, and those absolutely gorgeous colors.
I love macro photography for several reasons. First, I have absolutely no idea how to do it myself. Second, I’ve never seen such a remarkable variety of species and discovering them from such a close-up perspective is an absolutely fascinating experience.
Good Morning All
